Service & charity

Brotherhood made visible.

Good fellowship is the heart of the Grotto; service is how that fellowship reaches beyond the meeting room and into the lives of others.

The Humanitarian Foundation

Helping children receive needed dental care.

Grottoes International’s Humanitarian Foundation supports dental care for qualifying children with special needs. Chub-e Sabz intends to advance that mission through fundraising, awareness, and direct connection to the wider program.

How we put fellowship to work

Four directions for service.

01

Support the Foundation

Build awareness and raise funds for the Grottoes International Humanitarian Foundation and its dental-care mission.

02

Serve close to home

Develop local projects that respond to real needs in the communities and lodges of southeastern Kentucky.

03

Bring Brothers together

Use fellowship as a starting point for shared action, stronger lodge relationships, and practical help.

04

Tell the story

Help families and communities understand the charitable purpose behind the black fez and Grotto fellowship.

An Appalachian approach

Practical, local, and personal.

Service in McCreary County and the surrounding region works best when it is grounded in relationships. Chub-e Sabz can bring Prophets from multiple lodges together around needs that are specific, understandable, and close to home.
