Privacy & stewardship

Private information stays private.

Chub-e Sabz uses the minimum information needed to answer inquiries, manage membership, plan events, and serve authorized members.

Our operating rule

Personal contact details, membership records, planning notes, and internal documents are never displayed on public pages. Authorized members see only the information appropriate to their account, while the Secretary manages protected records.

Contact inquiries

The contact form collects your name, email, topic, and message so the Secretary can respond. Submissions are not published and are retained only while they are needed for follow-up or Grotto administration.

Member accounts

Auth0 handles passwords and account verification. The website stores the account identifiers and roster information needed to authorize access. Members can see their own record; the Secretary can review the full protected roster.

Events and documents

RSVP contact details, volunteer interests, internal plans, meeting records, and member documents are limited to authorized users. Public pages receive only information the Secretary marks for public release.

Photographs

A member must confirm permission before uploading a photograph. Every submission requires Secretary approval. It appears publicly only when the Secretary deliberately selects public sharing; otherwise it remains pending, rejected, or members-only.

Security and payments

Use a unique account password and do not upload Social Security numbers, identity documents, banking details, or other highly sensitive records. Online payments are currently disabled and no payment-card information is collected by this site.

Your choices

You may ask the Secretary to correct your account information, review a contact inquiry, or remove an eligible submission. Operational and legal records may be retained where required for Grotto administration.
