Chub-e Sabz Grotto instituted October 10

The cave was only the beginning. Our Appalachian Grotto was instituted October 10, 2026.

Chub-e Sabz Grotto was instituted on October 10, 2026. We now continue our work through fellowship, service and community involvement. Our regular meeting is the first Wednesday: dinner at 6:00 PM Eastern and meeting at 7:00 PM Eastern. Confirm location and visitor guidance with the Secretary before traveling. Visit our institution history and submit permitted institution-day photographs through the member portal for review. This completion update is published on the date shown above; it does not change the date of the original advance announcement.

Institution set for October 10

Historical announcement: institution was scheduled for October 10, 2026.

Originally announced August 31, 2026: the institution and Grotto ceremony were planned for Saturday, October 10, 2026, following the Cave Degree in Livingston, Kentucky. This advance notice is retained as part of our history. Institution was subsequently completed October 10; see the new completion announcement.
